Estabrooks Community Hall

Estabrooks Community Hall Serving the community since 2015. The Estabrooks Community Hall was renamed in September of 2015.

The site was the Bay Road 59 Fire Services in Lewis Lake and has served the community since 1976. Through a determined core of volunteers and no financial backing of any sort this hall remains open to serve the community. Without these hard working volunteers this building will be demolished by the HRM and the site abandoned.

We want to send a huge thank you out to Pastor Taylore for organizing a great group of fellas to help paint the outside of the hall.
Jacob, Jeremiah, Eddie, Alejandro, Chris, George, Tyler, Bert, Joseph, and the story of the last man to show up. He came all the way from Halifax on a transit bus. Now if anyone knows we do not have any busses that come out this far, which means he walked from Timberlea. That's dedication, although we were wrapping up by the time he got there we acknowledged the fact he came, and brought cookies. Thank you Aime(I hope it is spelled correctly)
There is still a bit more to do to the walls but the majority is complete. Next I will get the doors painted a wonderful color, and finish up inside.
Our motto is MANY HANDS MAKE LIGHT WORK, and this was the case.
