Winter is coming, and for women and children at Adsum, a warm night’s sleep means everything.
Neighbours Support Centre + Faith City Church are teaming up to collect comfort for Adsum for Women & Children.

We’re collecting NEW:
PJs: all genders, ages & sizes
Slippers + warm socks (thermal & fuzzy!)
Gift cards, $10–$50 (coffee, grocery, pharmacy, department store)

Neighbours Support Centre is hosting a Free Community Workshop on Tenants’ Rights!

🎙 Guest Speaker: Christina Tellez, Tenants’ Rights Educator from Nova Scotia Legal Aid

Christina will break down:
• Leases 101: Fixed-term vs. periodic leases, deposit limits, and illegal upfront demands
• Evictions & Disputes: Notices to quit, renovictions, and maintenance issues

Everyone is welcome—whether you’re a first-time renter, dealing with lease changes, or supporting newcomers in our neighbourhood.

Patients living with Sickle Cell Disease need closely matched donors, which means donors of African, Caribbean, Middle Eastern, South Asian, and Mediterranean descent are especially urgent right now.
Whether you’ve given a hundred times or never once, this is your moment to show up for someone you’ll never meet.
