ALL DONORS ARE WELCOME AND NEEDED!!

It’s Sickle Cell Awareness Month, and we’re teaming up with Canadian Blood Services and SCDAAC to host a community blood drive right here at Faith City Church / Neighbours Support Centre.
Patients living with Sickle Cell Disease need closely matched donors, which means donors of African, Caribbean, Middle Eastern, South Asian, and Mediterranean descent are especially urgent right now.
Whether you’ve given a hundred times or never once, this is your moment to show up for someone you’ll never meet.

📅 Tuesday, Sept 15 | 2–7 PM
📍 Faith City Church / Neighbours Support Centre

Book your spot: scan the QR code on our poster, head to blood.ca, or grab the GiveBlood app.

Remember when borrowing a cup of sugar from a neighbour was a normal thing?
Being a good neighbour isn’t always about big gestures.
Sometimes it’s checking in, lending a hand, or simply saying hello.

What’s the nicest thing a neighbour has ever done for you.
We’d love to hear your story. ❤️

Another successful workshop with LISNS in the books!

We’ve already received emails from attendees sharing how informative the session was and how much they learned over the two hours.

A huge thank you to Heather, who delivered an incredible presentation and somehow talked for two hours straight while keeping everyone engaged the entire time!

We’re grateful for opportunities to connect our community with valuable information and resources.
