We are excited to announce our Canada Day Beef Box Raffle, with proceeds supporting the Pediatrics Unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

🎉 Four winners will receive an assorted beef box valued at $300, provided by: Atlantic Beef Products Inc., MacQuarrie's Meats, MacPhee's Meats & Steerman's Quality Meats.

🎟️ Tickets: $10 for 1 or $25 for 3, available until June 30 from:
Agro Co-op Charlottettown, Buns and Things Bakery, Gallants & Co. Island Food To Go, Good Guys Auto Glass, Kensington Agricultural Services Ltd., Phillips Agri Services & the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation.

Photos can be submitted under five different categories until Monday, July 13, 2026. Categories include: Agriculture Is; Animals of Agriculture; Farmscapes; Modern Technology in Farming; and Wild Side.

Finalists will be showcased at the Celebrate PEI Agriculture Old Home Week event.

Producers are encouraged to take 20–30 minutes to review the draft and submit feedback. Producer input is essential in helping shape on-farm animal welfare standards for the next decade.

All comments are valuable-whether you support a recommendation or have concerns.

Vaccines are one of the eligible activities of our new 2026 Herd Health Program!

This program supports PEI beef producers in implementing herd health best management practices, with a focus on:
✔️ Vaccination protocols ✔️ Pain mitigation
✔️ Building and maintaining a relationship with your veterinarian

Funding is provided by the PEICP for the benefit of PEI producers.
Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis and processed as they are received. Funding will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.
