Founded on February 8th, 1910, the Wynnum Scout Group is one of the longest-standing youth organizations in the region. With a rich history spanning over a century, we have been dedicated to fostering the growth and development of young people. Our mission is to build strong, resilient, and well-rounded youth through a variety of engaging and educational programs. Throughout th

e years, we have remained committed to our core values of community, leadership, and adventure. Our programs are designed to challenge and inspire, helping young people develop essential life skills, confidence, and a sense of responsibility. From outdoor activities and camping trips to community service projects and leadership training, we offer a diverse range of opportunities for personal growth and development. Today, the Wynnum Scout Group continues to thrive, adapting to the changing needs of our community while staying true to our founding principles. 🔥 DAY TWO — LET’S GO! 🌭

Wynnum Scouts are back at Bunnings Manly West today, starting at $500 and chasing a massive $3,500 goal!

Come grab a sausage, say hello and help us smash it! 💪 Every dollar goes straight into our Youth Fund, helping keep camps, activities and Scouting affordable for everyone.

On Thursday night, our Joeys joined forces with the Cubs, Scouts and Venturers for something a little different — McFormal! 🎩✨🍟

We dressed in our best clothes, put on our prettiest smiles and best table manners, and headed to McDonald’s Tingalpa, where dinner was served on paper plates and eaten with knives and forks — because obviously, it was a formal! 😂

It was such a fantastic night, but what I loved most was seeing all our sections mixing together and getting to know each other. For our Joeys especially, having those connections with the Cubs, Scouts and Venturers makes moving through the sections later on feel a whole lot less scary.

A massive thank you to McDonald’s Tingalpa. The staff absolutely went above and beyond to accommodate our crazy little formal gathering. They were patient, helpful and genuinely lovely with our youth and leaders.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from us — and most importantly, the kids had an absolute ball! ❤️⚜️
