Vision Christian Media

Vision Christian Media Our mission is to take the gospel to every corner of Australia! Vision is truly helping Australians look to God daily.

Vision is a non-profit, non-denominational, registered charity and multimedia Christian ministry dedicated to ensuring God’s Word continues to have a place in Australia’s media landscape. From the beginning, our founders received the word of Habakkuk 2:2 and caught a vision.

“To take God’s Word through media to every corner of Australia and make it available to whoever wants it.” (Hal Short, Fo

unding Vision Chairman). Since our inception in publishing and local community radio in 1988 (under the original name of United Christian Broadcasters), Vision Christian Media has grown to over 750 radio transmitters all over Australia; an app with unlimited reach potential; a streamed Christian worldview national news service; plus a range of devotional publications and digital channels. Thanks to our faithful pioneers and today’s dedicated board and ministry team, the Vision brand has grown to be a trusted, consistent and unifying voice, encouraging and affirming people in their Christian faith and transforming lives with God’s truths.

AI is revealing something deeper than we may realise.

In this conversation with Neil Johnson on 20Twenty, Dr Christopher Watkin says AI is showing us what we really value.

If we believe human worth is based on productivity, efficiency, intelligence, or output, then AI will inevitably shake our view of what it means to be human.

But Scripture gives us a true foundation.

Our value is not found in what we can produce. Older people, children, those with illness or disability, and those who cannot “perform” in the way society expects are just as valuable as anyone else.

Why? Because human dignity is not earned.

It is given by God.

What does it mean to be human in the age of AI?

As artificial intelligence becomes more embedded in our everyday lives, it is raising deep questions about identity, dignity, work, creativity, relationships, and human worth.

Dr Christopher Watkin, Associate Professor at Monash University, joined Neil Johnson on 20Twenty to explore how AI is exposing the fragile foundations many people build their identity on — especially productivity, intelligence, creativity, and efficiency.

From a Christian perspective, we know that our value is not found in what we can produce or achieve. As Psalm 8 reminds us, human beings are crowned with glory and honour by God.

In a world increasingly shaped by AI, only the biblical view of humanity offers truth and hope.

In a world shaped by AI, achievement, productivity, and comparison, it can be easy to look for our worth in the wrong places.

But Dr Christopher Watkin reminds us that our value is not something we create for ourselves.

In this conversation with Neil Johnson on 20Twenty, he points to the hope of Psalm 8: we are creatures made by the living God, crowned with glory and honour by Him.

Don’t try to make your own crown.
Receive the crown God has already given you. 🙏

Your identity, value, and worth are not things you have to earn — and they are not things you can lose.

What could God do with what you already have?

On Rise & Shine, Fel and Andy reflected on the boy who brought his lunch to Jesus: five loaves and two fish. It seemed small, but in Jesus’ hands, it became more than enough.

They also shared Lucas’ Visionathon story: a young boy who gave up his fish burger so others could hear about Jesus. A simple act of childlike faith.

Your generosity goes further than you could ever imagine 🙏💙

Your gift helps share the hope of Jesus across Australia through radio, devotionals, podcasts, the Vision App, and more.

Former Deputy Prime Minister John Anderson AC joined Neil Johnson and Tosh Sturgess on Vision Radio to reflect on the Christian foundations that have shaped Western democracy.

At the heart of it is a deeply biblical truth: every person has equal worth and dignity before God. From the Prime Minister to the most forgotten person in the outback, every soul is precious to Him.

John also spoke about what happens when a culture loses sight of humility, confession, forgiveness, and the reality that none of us are God unto ourselves.

This Visionathon, your support helps keep conversations like this on air — pointing people back to truth, faith, forgiveness, and the hope of Jesus.
