Our new Donation Location is officially launched at The Mall, Manly Harbour Village, opposite IGA. Next time you’re popping in for your groceries, Australia Post, the Butcher, Chemist (and so much more - they really do have everything) drop a few essentials into this beauty and know they go directly to those experiencing hardship and homelessness.

Your pantry extras, non-perishables and everyday essentials can help support local people and families doing it tough right here in our local community.

MEAT THE NEED IS ON TOMORROW! 💚🥩

Tomorrow, Friday 16th October, Wynnum Community Place will be offering FREE meat and milk to eligible families in our community, thanks to the incredible support of Foodbank Queensland!

With grocery costs continuing to put pressure on household budgets, we know just how much difference a little extra support can make.

PLEASE NOTE – STOCK IS VERY LIMITED!

We're pleased to welcome Bayside Community Legal Service Inc. to WCP every month, making it easier for our local community to access legal support when they need it!
Whether you've got a legal question, need some guidance or simply aren't sure where to start, their friendly team is here to help point you in the right direction.

It's a drop-in service, so you're welcome to pop in anytime between 9 and 11am and have a chat.

Some people are just really, really good at being good humans. The generous crew behind The Good Box are a great example of that. 💚

Through The Good Box, we receive boxes packed with essentials for people experiencing homelessness in our local community. Alongside this goodness, you’ll find handwritten notes, treats, clothing and all sorts of thoughtful extras that make someone feel cared for.

It’s one thing to donate what someone needs. It’s another to take the time to add a handwritten message, pop in a treat or include something extra to let someone experiencing hard times that they are cared for - and the world needs them.

Our role is to get these boxes into the hands of local people who need them, and we’re so grateful to be part of that process.

To every donor who has contributed to The Good Box — thank you for the thought, generosity and care you put into these boxes. You may never meet the person who receives one, but your kindness travels a lot further than you realise.

Life can be a lot sometimes, and you don’t have to have everything figured out before reaching out for a little support....

Our counsellor Mark is at WCP every Thursday and Friday, offering FREE counselling appointments in a relaxed, welcoming and judgement-free space.
There’s no Mental Health Care Plan needed, no cost, and no one-size-fits-all approach. Sessions are led by you and what you’d like to talk about or work towards - at your own pace 💚

Whether things have been feeling a little overwhelming, you’re going through a tough patch, or you’d simply like someone to talk to, Mark is here.
