There's a few new faces following us recently - so we thought we'd reintroduce ourselves and what we do here at Reverse Garbage QLD! ♻✨💚
RGQ is a not-for-profit co-operative, whose aim is to keep quality materials out of landfill, and the circular economy circulating! We collect clean industrial discards, offcuts and second-hand materials from businesses, hospitals, factories and institutions all over Brisbane and provide environmentally-responsible alternatives to mainstream art & craft and DIY supplies.
There is a common misconception out there that we are a recycling centre! However, we don’t actually do any onsite recycling. We are instead, a creative reuse centre - and we aim to encourage people to get as much use from “waste” as possible. The longer we keep things in circulation, and out of landfill the better!
