Join us for a free Community Seminar on Carer's Fatigue, where counsellor Renae Viselli will discuss how to recognise the signs of carer burnout and fatigue, and share practical strategies to help you look after yourself while caring for others.

This seminar is ideal for family members, partners and friends supporting someone living with Parkinson's, stroke or arthritis.

Associate Professor Brenton Hordacre is helping stroke survivors regain movement and independence through innovative rehabilitation research.

His Boot Camp program is investigating a five-week, intensive group-based rehabilitation approach designed to accelerate upper limb recovery after stroke, helping people improve function and get back to the activities that matter most.

Creativity can be a powerful tool for wellbeing. 🎨

Our Art Therapy sessions provide a welcoming space for people living with Parkinson's, stroke survivors and carers to explore their experiences, build connections and take time for themselves.

Sessions are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Welland.

A powerful and deeply important conversation today on aphasia, and the communication challenges faced by people living with stroke and Parkinson’s.

Did you know around 140,000 Australians live with aphasia, a condition that can affect a person’s ability to speak, understand, read or write.

We were honoured to hear from Dean Fyfe and Robert Heddle fromAphasia SA who shared their lived experiences with honesty, insight and heart. Dean spoke about supporting his wife who lives with aphasia, while Bob shared his own journey following two strokes in 2017.

Thank you both for helping shine a light on the realities of aphasia, and the importance of understanding, support and connection in recovery and wellbeing.
