Echunga Scout Group

Last week saw Echunga CFS host us for a whole group night. They took the youth through the station, showing them all the ins and outs of communications, protective gear, maintenance, equipment and the trucks, teaching us the safe way to use fire blankets at home as well as giving everyone a chance to use the fire hoses and a couple of different fire extinguishers. Big thanks to the team at Echunga CFS.

A poignant moment for the Echunga Scout Group and our wonderful community. Today, we stood as a guard of honor at the Echunga ANZAC Dawn Service and proudly marched to the Echunga Institute, honoring the sacrifices of our brave veterans. Together, we paid tribute to their unwavering courage and selflessness. It's moments like these that truly exemplify the spirit of unity and strength within our community. Lest we forget.

Hi Everyone- the Echunga Scout Group are very grateful for your donations of 10c containers. Just a reminder we don’t take wine bottles - these attract no deposit and affect viability for collection. Please put them in your household yellow lid council bin.
Please also take note of the signage to direct you - empty your 10c containers into the wheelie bins provided and take your bags, containers and cardboard.
Thanks everyone!

Good spotting by some of our Joey members and leader Jason. This baby possum had fallen from the Eucalypts on the grounds and its parents were nowhere to be seen. So good to see you taking care of the animals around you and getting them the help they need. Thanks Annie for arranging and transporting this beautiful baby ring tailed possum to be cared for by Minton Farm.
