The Club held a Retrieving Trial for Gundogs today Monday 9th June. Results are as follows:

Dog is wandering ownerless on River Glen Drive. Would not let me get close enough to look at his collar. Didn’t attack but was barking for me to not come close. He eventually ran up farther up the street. Council have been contacted. https://www.facebook.com/michael.fazackerley.52

A warning to all dog owners!

As you're eating your Christmas lunch, be careful of where you leave your scraps. Last Christmas, we saw 44 cases of dogs eating something they shouldn't have off the Christmas table. Half of these included cooked bones, BBQ skewers, and food packaging. The other 22 were grape related items such as sultanas and fruitcake, which can cause kidney damage in dogs.
