📣 Hello to all of our followers, sponsors and exhibitors. We have a message from our event organiser, Greg Russell, to share with you below.
"The Rotary Club of Stirling has organised the Hills Small Acreage Field Days in 2020 (postponed due to COVID), 2022 and 2024, and I am writing to let you know that unfortunately we will not be continuing with this event.
Volunteerism is declining throughout Australia and regrettably our Rotary Club is no exception.
We believed there was a market for an event like this in the Hills and we still hold that view, however this project is now just too big for us.
We want to sincerely thank you for being involved. Our members very much enjoyed the interactions with you, and the money we raised was all invested in projects in our community.
Our thanks to all our exhibitors, sponsors, speakers and stakeholders especially Josh Teague - Member for Heysen, Rebekha Sharkie MP, Mount Barker District Council, other Rotary clubs that helped us, and the broader Echunga community. Many thanks to you all."
