We are very grateful for a Federal Volunteer Grant, facilitated by the office of Rebekha Sharkie MP . We used this grant to purchase a new upright freezer. This replaces our previous aged chest freezer. The new freezer provides easier access, better shelf and drawer storage of meats and is larger.
We purchase bulk beef mince and chicken breast fillets at a reduced cost, portion and pack it and then freeze it. We then sell the meat at the reduced cost to Pantry visitors.
Harvey Norman Mt Barker helped us out with a very good price and today, our new freezer was delivered!

Thank you very much to the Gluten Free Cafe Farmhouse in Echunga for donating wonderful gluten free breads!
With family members who have coeliac disease, I understand the higher cost of gluten free food. That's why we made it a priority to stock gluten free bread and non perishable pantry goods.
