The Adelaide Repertory Theatre is excited to announce details of the audition process and requirements for The Drowsy Chaperone with auditions to be held on 20 and 21 June 2026.
Step into the sparkling, tap-dancing, champagne-popping world of The Drowsy Chaperone.
We are seeking a dynamic ensemble of exceptional singers, actors, and dancers to bring this hilarious, high-energy Broadway comedy to life. With the roles of the Man in Chair (Scott Nell) and the Chaperone (Bronwyn James) already cast, we are now assembling a talented cast of performers ready to embrace big characters, bold comedy, and show-stopping musical numbers.

We’re on the lookout for storage space near Adelaide CBD to house our set materials, props and furniture. As a not‑for‑profit community theatre company, we’re hoping to find 25 - 40 square metres of space at minimal rental to support our productions throughout the year.

What we need:

Ground‑level access
Drive‑up entry for truck loading and unloading
Secure, dry, accessible storage
