Beyond The Sirens Independent not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting the South Australian Ambulance Community. Beyond The Sirens Inc.

is a new South Australian not-for-profit, founded in 2025 to support and advance the wellbeing and development of Ambulance clinical staff, Volunteers and Student paramedics, including those working on-road and in Emergency Operations Centers (EOC). Our long-term goal is to provide:
• Welfare and hardship support
• Professional development grants and scholarships
• Initiatives that foster resilience, growth, and wellbeing

We are committed to our Ambulance colleagues, and determined to empower them in their careers, and support them through life’s toughest challenges.

✨A few special thank-you's for some of our amazing fundraisers at this years City-Bay Fun Run ✨

Starting of course with Theo, aka Captain, who managed to raise over $1000 on our behalf! (admittedly with some help from his dad). Theo proved to be the most popular superhero on the course, and we can see why! Theo, you're awesome!

Secondly, a huge thank you to some of our fantastic student paramedics who fundraised on our behalf:

Here is Scout (who was our number 1 fundraiser, raising over $1600!) and Kayla. We appreciate all your efforts and hope you had a great time on the day.

We also would love to thank Daisy, another student paramedic who raised over $800 on our behalf.. but we never got a photo with! Whoops!

You are all superheroes in our minds and we are so grateful that you chose to fundraise for us.

And that's a wrap on our 2026 City-Bay Fun Run campaign!

A huge thank you to our big and wonderful team that fundraised on our behalf, those who joined our committee us for the long walk, the helpers in the background, and of course all of the generous donors who supported us and our participants.

We are pleased to announce that our campaign has beaten last years amount, and we can't wait to put these new funds to work supporting our wonderful ambulance community here in SA.

It’s race week! We are counting down the days to the 2026 City-To-Bay Fun Run happening this Sunday 20th September!

We are close to beating our fundraising efforts from last year - but not quite there yet! All the money we raise goes towards supporting the ambulance community in South Australia.

We would so appreciate your support – either donating to one of our team members, signing up for a last minute fundraising mission on our behalf, or just joining us on the day for a good time!

We are only 2 weeks out from our 2026 City-To-Bay Fun Run!

And a big reminder about our FREE entry offer - if you sign up to fundraise on our behalf and raise over $500 we will reimburse your entry fee as a thank you!

Last year we raised over $5000 to support the ambulance community here in South Australia - and we have put that money to work! Now we need your help to beat that amount this year!

A Day In The Hills!

Enjoy some happy snaps from our recent community event held in Mt Barker!

We had a great time and enjoyed a delicious smorgasbord of soups and other treats!

Being an Ambo comes with unique, rewarding, and sometimes very challenging experiences. Amongst such a special group, we believe that strong community connections are crucial to wellbeing - they make the good times better and support you through the hard times.

These community days are a chance to get together in a relaxed environment away from work - to connect, strengthen relationships, and debrief if that's needed as well.

A special thank you to our wonderful hosts and the many volunteers who helped make the day possible, and a special mention to Jodie from Fortem Australia who joined us to share some information about the services they offer for all first responders.

In addition, a very special thank you to:
🫔 Lobethal Bakery who donated bread rolls for the event - they were delicious and we hope you'll show them your support.
🌲Mount Barker Landscape Centre who generously donated firewood to keep our attendees toasty warm. Keep them in mind for any landscaping or firewood needs of your own!
🚻 Kennards Hire who donated an all important porta-loo…to keep everyone comfortable (and out from behind trees) - see them for all your hire needs!

Want FREE entry to the 2026 City To Bay Fun Run? Join our team!

Its three weeks out from our "Superhero Fun-d Run", where we are raising money to support our hard working ambulance community here in South Australia.

We are excited to announce that we will REFUND the entry fee for any of our wonderful team members who raise over $500.

🏃‍♀ If you're chasing a PB, you can run or walk your own race and fundraise on our behalf - we will have a stall at the race finish line to celebrate with you!

✨ If you would prefer some company - you can join our group walking together in the 12km event - We will bring our costumes and good vibes, and you can choose to dress up or simply wear whatever makes you comfortable.

Today’s the day!
A kind donation of firewoood from mtbarkerlandscapecentre will keep you warm and the conversations flowing!

It’s not too late to RSVP and come along!

Take a chance to enjoy some time together and strengthen those positive community relationships, support each other, and debrief from the stresses of the work – all whilst you relax in a beautiful place, with a warm fire, games, and delicious hearty winter soups and drinks – provided courtesy of Beyond The Sirens.

We are also thrilled to have Jodie from Fortem Australia coming by to give some more information about the range of services they offer to support first responders - including wellbeing and counselling services.

If you are able to raise $250 or more, you’ll score this fresh pack including backpack, towel, stress ball, cap and water bottle!

Some of our wonderful supporters have already crossed that number – so please get in touch so we can get a pack to you, and if you’re on the fence now is the time to join!

We are also excited to announce that for fundraisers who raise over $500, we are willing to refund the cost of your race entry ourselves! Stay tuned for more details in our next update.
