🌟 Building confidence one step at a time.

With the support of Edge’s NDIS Employment Support Coach, Brody has implemented a simple 4-step plan to assist with decision-making and building confidence.

Recently, Brody used the plan while out in the community and shared, “I have already used the plan when faced with a decision, I was unsure what to do. It helped me not to panic and feel overwhelmed in the moment.”

We’re excited to share that Project Employment has been extended through to June 2027– marking the program’s seventh year of supporting young people as they transition from school into employment.

Since 2021, more than 450 students have graduated from the seven-week program, building confidence, skills and pathways into employment. We’re proud to continue creating meaningful opportunities for young people with disability and helping shape positive futures.

TJ’s first Disability Expo was a huge success!🎨

We’ve loved supporting TJ on her creative journey by turning her digital artwork into products like stickers, photo frames, and vinyl glasses during her NDIS sessions, using tools like the Cricut Cutting Machine.

“The disability expo was amazing, I had so much fun showing my artwork,” TJ shared.

Margaret is the woman behind the hit cupcakes at every cohort’s graduation and always ensures our office gets its sweet fix!🧁

For the past two years, Margaret has supported over 18 classes of students in our workplace preparation program, helping them develop valuable skills and build confidence for opportunities after school – whether that’s work experience, volunteering or employment.

Her passion for supporting students and celebrating their achievements makes every graduation that little bit sweeter.
