The Waalitj Hub will be in Bunbury to provide support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people wanting to grow their business!

We’re trialling a new way of connecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Businesses with organisations that have real opportunities, focusing on meaningful, one‑on‑one conversations rather than group presentations. This format will bring together organisations with current or upcoming projects and businesses with relevant capability for pre‑booked, one‑on‑one meetings. Our aim is to facilitate stronger connections, clearer conversations, and more effective outcomes for our businesses.

Businesses are given dedicated, one‑on‑one access to potential clients, an opportunity that can otherwise be difficult to secure. These conversations can explore opportunities, clarify requirements and review tender processes.

Meetings are available with Alcoa Australia, Tronox and Genus between 9am to 12pm. Current business clients can contact their coach or email [email protected] to register for a meeting!

If you are an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander business owner and would like to sign up with the Waalitj Hub, you can also contact us at [email protected] 💼

A generous community collaboration has made a meaningful difference for a local family 💙

When safety concerns arose for grandparents caring for young grandchildren, local tradies stepped in. Thanks to Joel from Bidi Facility Services, alongside Bithuwarndu Fence Works a brand‑new pool fence was installed free of charge, bringing peace of mind and keeping little ones safe.
