Rockhampton turned it on for the FOGS Regional Tour Gala Lunch.

Proudly presented by Maynard Cattle Co., the event brought together local Rugby League supporters, businesses and community leaders for an afternoon celebrating the game and raising funds for junior Rugby League in the region.

Plenty of laughs and plenty of great stories shared throughout the afternoon.

The panel featured Wally Lewis, Chris Close and Steve Walters, with Mitch Lewis doing a fantastic job as host. Guests also had the opportunity to spend time with FOGS Matt Gillett, Gene Miles, Dave Taylor, PJ Marsh and Matt Sing, who helped make the day one to remember.

These events are what the FOGS Regional Tour is all about. Bringing communities together, celebrating Rugby League and supporting the grassroots clubs and volunteers who keep the game strong across regional Queensland.

A big thank you to everyone who attended and supported the event. Your support will help strengthen junior Rugby League pathways and opportunities throughout the Rockhampton region.

Rockhampton brought the energy last week.

As part of the FOGS Regional Tour, we spent the afternoon at Browne Park with local juniors, running a footy clinic alongside the NRL Community Development Officers and the Central Queensland Capras.

There were plenty of smiles, plenty of laughs, and plenty of young players keen to learn from some of Queensland's greats.

These clinics are a special part of every Regional Tour. They provide an opportunity to connect with local communities, support grassroots Rugby League, and inspire the next generation through the game we all love.

A big thank you to FOG #9 Wally Lewis, FOG #28 Gene Miles, FOG #5 Chris Close and FOG #173 Matt Gillett for giving up their time to share their experiences, sign autographs, pose for photos and make the day one to remember for the kids.

Thanks also to the NRL Community Development Officers and the Central Queensland Capras for helping make the clinic such a great success.
