Queensland had four teams compete at Australian Ultimate Championships DII in Shepparton last fortnight with some great results!

Brisbanites Women's (6th) and Fuse Tea (7th) both finished in the top 8 of the division- evidence of the amazing women's development happening in our local clubs!

Extinction (9th) and Brisbanites Open's (14th) finished in the top 16 in the Open's division with Extinction beating their seed and Brisbanites Open's matching their seed.

Between Extinction and Fuse Tea QLD also had 15 under 18s participate showing the strength of junior development in South East Queensland.

We can't wait to get around Fuse and Mammoth this weekend at DI Australian Ultimate Championships in Adelaide!

Thanks to .studio and club photographers for these photos.

The QUDA Awards were announced last weekend at Brisbane Bash. Please join us in congratulating the 2025 QUDA Event of the Year- Extinction's Junior UltiMate Program.

2025 was a landmark year for Extinction’s Junior UltiMates Program — and BIG Camp was the standout event.

With 143 unique junior participants across the year, 19 junior events, 300+ coaching hours, and 12 Queenslanders named in the WJUC2026 squad, the program continues to redefine junior development in Queensland.

BIG Camp — the first junior-only multi-day camp in Queensland — brought interstate coaches to Brisbane and gave 25 young athletes an elite-level training experience.

Through JUMP U16s, JUMP U18s, JUST-ISHS, and structured pathways into open competition and national representation, Extinction has built a genuine development ecosystem from school to world stage.

Congratulations to for delivering another transformational year in junior Ultimate. 🌟🥏
