Expressions of Interest are EXTENDED for the 2027 Australian U24 Ultimate Teams through to 3 August 2026

The journey to Kamisu, Japan begins now, with opportunities available for athletes aspiring to represent Australia in the Open, Women's and Mixed divisions.

If you're eligible and ready to challenge yourself alongside some of the country's best young players, we encourage you to submit an EOI and learn more about the selection process.

EOIs close 3 August 2026.

🥏 Looking for a school sport opportunity that puts fun, fitness and fair play first?

The North Brisbane Interschool Sport (NBIS) Ultimate Disc Gala Days are back in 2026, giving secondary school students the chance to compete, connect and experience one of the few team sports that is self-officiated by the players.

📅 Junior Mixed: Tuesday 18 August
📅 Senior Mixed: Friday 21 August
📍 South Pine Sports Complex, Brendale
💰 $150 per team

NBIS is designed for positive competition without the win-at-all-costs mentality — with teamwork, respect and fair play at the heart of the day.

Schools north of the Brisbane River are encouraged to participate, and schools from outside the region are welcome too.

Places are limited and nominations close 14 days before each event.

The 2026 World Junior Ultimate Championships are underway in Logroño, Spain, and we’re pretty proud to see this crew of Queensland athletes wearing the green and gold with Tempest, Australia’s U20 Mixed team. 💚💛

After finishing third in Pool B, Tempest are through to the quarter-finals, where they’ll take on Switzerland! 🔥

Queensland had four teams compete at Australian Ultimate Championships DII in Shepparton last fortnight with some great results!

Brisbanites Women's (6th) and Fuse Tea (7th) both finished in the top 8 of the division- evidence of the amazing women's development happening in our local clubs!

Extinction (9th) and Brisbanites Open's (14th) finished in the top 16 in the Open's division with Extinction beating their seed and Brisbanites Open's matching their seed.

Between Extinction and Fuse Tea QLD also had 15 under 18s participate showing the strength of junior development in South East Queensland.

We can't wait to get around Fuse and Mammoth this weekend at DI Australian Ultimate Championships in Adelaide!

Our U20s World Junior Ultimate Championship representatives and their families are cooking up a storm at Bunnings NEWSTEAD today.

If youre in the area pop on down and buy a sausage or 10!

With 12 QLD Juniors involved in this years U20s WJUC campaign the costs are high but the community spirit and drive is higher! Every sausage helps get these athletes to Logrono, Spain in July!
