A huge thank you to the team at MM Electrical for hosting the MM Electrical Golf Day at Yeppoon Golf Club.

The day proudly supported both MATES in Energy and MATES in Mining, helping keep the MATES message strong across our industries.

MM Electrical is a valued MATES in Energy partner, and it was fantastic to see their support extend across the broader MATES network for this event.

MATES representatives Penny and Erin were proud to attend and spend the day connecting with everyone involved.

Field Officer Sally was out training with the crew at Pinnacle, helping keep the MATES message strong on site.

It was great to spend time with the team, talk about the importance of looking out for your mates, and build more awareness around mental health and su***de prevention in the workplace.

Registrations are open for MATES Fly the Flag – 7-11 September, 2026 to receive your FREE MATES in Energy Flag Kit. Closes 31/8/26.

This is the time when we celebrate the work our industry, Connector, ASIST and MATES in Energy Volunteers do every day on site to improve mental health and prevent su***de in our workplaces. Check in with your mates over a morning tea, BBQ, or toolbox talk. Proudly fly the MATES flag or get the crew to sign it.
