🎉 New year, new leadership team at Miranda Toastmasters!

We're excited to welcome our Club Officers for July 2026 – June 2027:

A huge thank you to Joseph Duffey and last year's committee for everything they poured into the club — the growth, the support, and the countless hours behind the scenes didn't go unnoticed. We're lucky Joseph is staying on as Immediate Past President to keep sharing that experience with the new team!

Toastmasters isn't just about public speaking — it's a place to build real leadership skills: running meetings, giving feedback, managing teams, and stepping up when it counts. Every officer role starts as someone's first small step outside their comfort zone.

April meetings at Miranda Toastmasters.

April was quieter than normal at our meetings with members taking advantage of shorter weeks and holidays.

But we managed to mix things up on our meeting agendas, do things a little differently, and have fun. After all, change is as good as a holiday.

It wasn't all quiet during April, some notable things happened during the month:
- We welcomed 3 new members: Nadia, Scott and Harry
- Harry gave his first Toastmasters Icebreaker speech
- Scott was formally inducted as a member (Nadia and Harry will be inducted at upcoming meetings)
- Jill celebrated 10 years of Toastmasters membership
- Scott and Jill both completed level 1 of Presentation Mastery in Pathways
- And ... we forgot to take photos and so we've provided artist renderings instead

Our next meeting will be Tuesday, 12 May 2026. Come along and join us.
