Happy Educators Day to our amazing team at Mikarie Child Care Centre!
 
Today we celebrated the educators who inspire curiosity, creativity and confidence in our children every single day. They create a safe, inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported.
 
To say thank you, our team enjoyed relaxing massages and gift bags as a small gesture of appreciation for all the care and dedication they bring to our centre.
 
We’re so grateful for everything they do and the positive impact they have on our children and families.

Sylvanvale and Mikarie Child Care Centre are partnering with Australian Catholic University to offer the ENVISAGE Families Program for parents and guardians of children aged 0–8 with disability, neurodivergence or developmental concerns.

This free program is a chance to find community and practical strategies to help your family thrive.

With recent changes to the NDIS and Thriving Kids, Term 4 is a great time to join!

The program is 5 weekly in‑person workshops at Sylvanvale Head Office in Sutherland.

No NDIS plan or diagnosis is needed, and the sessions are grounded in an evidence‑based, peer‑supported framework.

Craig has recently moved into our Supported Independent Living home in Loftus and he’s already made some wonderful connections with his new housemates.

From shared meals to afternoon drum practice, he’s settled in quickly with daily routines around the house.

It’s been a lovely start to his new chapter, and Sylvanvale understands how important community and belonging are in every home.

Since opening its doors, Mikarie has become a trusted community hub where children of all abilities are supported to reach their potential, build friendships and feel they belong.
