On Wednesday night, our Joeys and Cubs took on a fun Father's Day Challenge - building their very own balloon - powered cars!

There were plenty of creative designs, lots of laughs, and some speedy little cars racing around!

A big shout-out to all the dads and families who joined in and helped make the night such a blast.

Who knew a balloon, some wheels and a little imagination could create so much fun!

The tiny Walkabout Award badge represents so much more than the number of kilometres you have hiked.

It’s a reminder of the challenges overcome, the adventures experienced, and the friendships made along the way.

MasterChef Scout Style!

Our Scouts took on a MasterChef challenge with a twist - mystery ingredient box!

With a mix of everyday pantry staples and some unusual ingredients they may never have used before, each patrol had to be creative and cook up a storm!

And wow.... the results looked fantastic and, tasted yummy too!

Well done to all patrols! The leaders were suitably impressed!

Our Joeys and Cubs got messy the other night!

No wait ..... they were actually learning all about Mess Kit Bags! They discovered what mess kits bags are used for, then got creative and painted their very own personalised mess kit bags.

A little learning, a lot of creativity, and plenty of fun along the way!

Billy Cart Fun!

Some of our Cubs also had a fantastic day at the Port Hacking District Billy Cart Day!

There was plenty of friendly competition, lots of laughs and some serious racing spirit! And one big kid (aka a leader) may have been having as much fun as the Cubs!

A huge BRAVO to the leaders who organised this fantastic activity. It was an awesome day!

Today some of our Joeys joined in the fun at the Joey Scout Fun Day at the Sydney Tramway Museum.

We had a wonderful time exploring the museum, heading off for a bushwalk and taking part in a fun scavenger hunt along the way. We also enjoyed listening to a special story and, of course, riding the trams!

A huge BRAVO to the leaders who worked so hard to organise such a fantastic day, and to the wonderful Sydney Tramway staff for making the day so enjoyable.

So many smiles, adventures and great memories made!

This week our Scout Unit got stuck into some classic bushcraft skills - lighting a fire with damp kindling, sticks and just ONE match, along with practising their knots.

And of course, there had to be a reward! A hanging donut, no hands allowed - although the leaders may have had a little too much fun making them move!

Night Adventures with our Joeys and Cubs!

Our Joeys headed out for a nocturnal hike, with some experiencing their very first hike in the dark! There were plenty of excited voices and some noisy frogs to discover on the trail!

The Cubs also took on a night adventure but this time covering much more ground whilst discovering how different the bush is at night.
