📰 **YARRAVILLE VILLAGE IN THE HEADLINES**

The future of Yarraville Village is making news!

Today's *Herald Sun* (page 6), along with a dedicated online video report , highlights the growing concerns of local traders and residents about the proposed Anderson Street closure.

https://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/victoria/yarraville-community-demands-state-government-halt-and-review-proposed-main-street-closure/video/50bb0d06e4b735388ed3620d6b94afee

The Yarraville Business Association (YBA) welcomes this important coverage and the opportunity to bring greater awareness to an issue that will have lasting implications for our Village.

We support improved safety at the level crossing, but believe any solution must also protect the connectivity, accessibility and economic vitality of Yarraville Village.

Our position remains clear: pause, review and properly investigate alternative solutions that keep Anderson Street open.

📰 Pick up today's today's *Herald Sun* (page 6) and watch the video coverage online.

YARRAVILLE BUSINESSES.. ARE YOU BEING FOUND?

Your YBA directory listing could be one of your easiest tools for putting your business in front of the people who live, work, shop, eat, drink and spend right here in Yarraville.

But here’s the thing…

Simply being listed isn’t enough.

If your profile is sitting there with old photos, outdated information or barely anything on it, you’re missing an opportunity to show people exactly why they should choose YOU.

➖ Fresh photos (Zerin’s always at hand if you need a book a shoot!)
➖ Up-to-date business details
➖ Your socials linked
➖ A profile that actually sells what you do
➖ A reason for locals to click, visit, book, buy or enquire

Think of your YBA listing as your shop window to the local community.
So make it look GOOD.

Because when locals are looking for somewhere to eat, something to buy, a service they need or a business they can support — you want your business to be the one they find.

Don’t just have a listing. MAKE IT WORK FOR YOUR BUSINESS.

Head to yarraville.org and update your profile today or become a YKBA member and get your business in front of the Yarraville and Kingsville community.

Your business deserves to be seen. Let’s get Yarraville businesses working harder, together.

Realtime with Z yesterday with our lovely Dion from IWI Health Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine.

What started as curiosity has grown into a real passion for Dion.
With a background in martial arts, Dion was already familiar with concepts like Qi, meridians, Yin and Yang but it was his fascination with acupuncture and its different, “out of the box” approach to health that led him to explore Traditional Chinese Medicine more deeply.
And it turns out there’s a lot more to Dion than acupuncture!

A trained chef in his early years, Dion has always had a love of cooking, while his passion for gardening was passed down from his parents, who both came from farming families.

Today, Dion brings all of these interests together in his approach to wellbeing.. combining his knowledge, curiosity and genuine passion for helping people.

IWI Health Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine is a local Yarraville clinic offering acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, with treatments tailored to individual needs.

Make an appointment with Dion today.. you will not regret it!

Born right here in the heart of Yarraville in 2014, Gojé has become a much loved part of the village and the local community. As long-term members of the Yarraville Kingsville Business Association, they’re woven into the fabric of what makes Yarraville so special.

Made fresh on-site every single day from scratch using a creamy cashew and coconut base – never pre-mix – Gojé serves up frozen yoghurt that’s 100% plant-powered and packed with flavour.

With an incredible range of frozen yoghurt flavours, an abundance of fresh vegan-friendly toppings, and seemingly endless combinations to create, every visit is a little different. It’s a refreshing alternative to the usual chocolate or açaí offerings and a destination that’s earned its loyal following.

Ready, set… Gojé!
