Mondays in the YCC kitchen are a hive of activity as our dedicated volunteers come together to transform ingredients and foods into nourishing dishes that will make a difference in the lives of many. The Nourish Project has assisted hundreds of community members in need, and itโ€™s a service that YCC is so proud to deliver because of the collective efforts of businesses, volunteers and donations.

If you would like to contribute to this invaluable food relief initiative, consider volunteering with this outstanding group of individuals who are making a real impact every single week.

Get in touch with YCC for all queries regarding food donations, volunteering, or if you are in need of one of these meals and require food relief ๐Ÿ‘‰ 9687 1560.

Food donations can also be placed inside the community pantry cabinet which is located on the inside of the boundary wall.

YCCโ€™s food relief program, The Nourish Project, is led by dedicated volunteers who donate their time every Monday to cooking these meals. By rescuing surplus food via the food donations received, over 200 meals a week are cooked and distributed to so many people in our community that are doing it tough. This initiative exists through the generous food donations from local businesses and community members, and the helping hands of the volunteers in the YCC kitchen.

If you would like to support The Nourish Project by donating food or volunteering, please get in touch with Yarraville Community Centre on 9687 1560, to be a part of this important program.
