"There's no bigger threat to food security than climate change and the decline of natural systems. Improving nature's capacity to continue providing essential ecosystem services like pollination, fresh water and a stable climate is good for food security," Nathaniel Pelle, Nature Campaigner at the Australian Conservation Foundation.

After searching over 10.8 million hectares of land... we have uncovered thousands of hectares of potentially illegal bulldozing across Australia.

So far, we have reported 22 cases of potentially illegal deforestation to either state or federal departments, and counting! Of this bulldozed land, several thousand hectares was habitat to endangered species, including the koala and pink cockatoo.

Featured is a case in Undullah, Queensland, which found 700 hectares of koala habitat bulldozed, which we reported to the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water.

Thank you to the 1600+ volunteers who were part of this project πŸ’š Together, we can demand people be held accountable to their actions, demand change, and create a better world.

Australia's rich list is out.

While mining magnates often grab the headlines, some of Australia's biggest fortunes are also linked to bulldozing bushland, threatening water resources and putting nature at risk.
πŸ“’ One of them is Jack's founder Jack Cowin.

Hungry Jack's remains Australia's only major burger chain without a commitment to remove deforestation from its supply chain.

Sign our open letter calling on Hungry Jack's to stop sourcing ingredients linked to the destruction of nature.

Minister Watt has put forward draft National Environmental Standards that simply do not deliver for nature. But the good news is that we have an opportunity to lift these Standards! Help us by sharing the word and making a submission! Link: https://www.acf.org.au/news/lets-talk-about-standards

The federal government has dismissed First Nations appeals to prevent the bulldozing of Barrambin/Victoria park, on Turrbal and Yuggera Country.

Our First Nations lead, Josie Alec, comments on the Environment Minister's decision, 'Mr Murray Watt is still not taking into consideration cultural heritage and first lore in Australia', and this decision is ,'at the expense of First Nations ceremonies and the continuing destruction of song lines.'
