Big Gas is spending millions on spin. But the truth doesn't wash away.

Your gift can help expose the facts and protect Australia's precious reefs, forests and wildlife from destruction.

While Big Gas spends millions shaping the narrative, ACF is working to ensure the truth isn't drowned out.

Donate today and help wash away the spin with facts.

JUST IN: The Bureau of Meteorology has officially declared an El Niño which can increase risk of bushfires in Australia and coral bleaching on the Great Barrier Reef.

Strap in folks, we’re bracing for a long hard disaster season for many Australians already doing it tough.

We’re working hard to hold governments and corporations accountable for the damage they cause to our climate and nature. For example, Big Gas is taking this country for a ride, taking our resources and shipping it overseas for mega profits. No matter where in the world that gas is burnt it heats the atmosphere and returns home as climate disaster, after disaster, after disaster.

So what now? No new coal and gas. A rapid and just transition to clean energy, built in the right places. And nature protected at all costs. Any new build - be it housing developments or a new data centre - must adhere to strong standards that protect the air we breathe and the water we drink.

And any politician turning their backs on the climate science require a stern wake up call - the science doesn’t lie and Aussies are on the frontline of the climate crisis.

Radiation and secrecy is a dangerous combination ☢️

There is deep public concern about the unknowns of the AUKUS submarine pact.

AUKUS has 'advanced with little debate or interrogation' says ACF's Nuclear Free Campaigner Dave Sweeney, who is calling for better transparency by the Albanese Government.

Our friends at Mighty Earth have gatecrashed McDonald's global convention in Vegas with a clear message: Stop bulldozing the Aussie bush for beef, and protect the Great Barrier Reef!

Australian beef is consumed all over the world, including in 70% of McDonald's burgers globally - and any of that beef could be contributing to the deforestation that is damaging the Great Barrier Reef.

McDonald's has made a commitment to end deforestation in their supply chains by 2030, but it could be too little too late - so we're demanding they bring their deadline forward so our forests and reefs have a fighting chance.

Nearly 10 Sydney CBDs' worth of tropical savanna. More than 20 threatened species. No federal environmental assessment.

Minister Murray Watt waved through an agricultural company's plan to bulldoze 2,722 hectares of habitat at Claravale Station, home to threatened animals like the ghost bat and Gouldian finch.

He's made a bad call. Now our friends at the Environment Centre NT are taking that decision to the Federal Court.

, nature deserves better than your rubber stamped destruction.'
