🎉Congratulations to our Careers Expo lucky draw winner, Bianca!🎉

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Somerville stall at the Careers Expo, had a chat with our team and entered our lucky draw.

We’re pleased to announce that Bianca was our lucky winner, with her mum stopping by to collect the prize on her behalf. 💙

It was great to meet so many people interested in learning more about Somerville and the career opportunities available across our organisation.

Happy Birthday, Thomas! 🎂

Thomas recently celebrated his birthday in a way that was completely his own. Choosing to host a BBQ at his unit and inviting everyone to come along and celebrate with him.

From planning the BBQ to choosing his favourite cake, Thomas made the decisions for his special day and enjoyed sharing the occasion with those around him. ❤️

At Somerville, moments like these are about more than celebrating a birthday. They’re about choice, independence and supporting people to live the life they choose.

We hope you had a fantastic birthday, Thomas, and that the year ahead brings many more happy moments and great memories! 🎈

Somerville Community Services was proud to be part of the Alice Springs Disability Expo 2026, connecting with people with disability, families, carers, support workers and organisations from across Central Australia.

It was especially lovely to see some of our participants stop by the Somerville stall to say hello and enjoy the day with us.

The Expo was a valuable opportunity to share information about our services, meet new people and connect with others who are equally committed to supporting greater choice, independence and inclusion for people with disability.

Thank you to Disability Action Inc - IDA for bringing the community together and hosting such a welcoming and inclusive event.

Happy 60th Birthday, Fabian!

What a fantastic celebration of a very special milestone!

Surrounded by family, friends and plenty of smiles, Fabian celebrated his 60th birthday in true Western style. It was especially heartwarming to see his mum, sister and family travel from the Tiwi Islands to share the occasion and celebrate together.

It was also wonderful to see members of the Somerville family, including our CEO Natasha Fyles and Owen, join in the celebrations.

At Somerville, we love celebrating the people we support and the moments that matter most. Thank you to Fabian's family for allowing us to share these special memories.

Happy 60th birthday, Fabian! We wish you continued good health, happiness and many more wonderful celebrations to come.

Gavan and Louis had a fantastic time at their horse-riding session, combining riding with a fun ball activity along the way.

Both did an amazing job and enjoyed plenty of smiles, laughs and encouragement throughout the session. It was wonderful to see them having fun, building confidence and making the most of the experience. 💙

We're proud to share that Annette Blunt, General Manager at Somerville Community Services, was recently a guest speaker on CPA Australia NT's Meet the CPA: Guest Series.

The monthly series brings together influential leaders from across business, finance, leadership and academia to share their career journeys, leadership insights and perspectives on today's professional landscape.

The session was live-streamed to an audience of more than 400 viewers worldwide, providing an opportunity for Annette to share her leadership experience and discuss the important work being undertaken at Somerville to support people with disability across the Northern Territory.

At Somerville, we value opportunities to contribute to conversations that strengthen leadership, encourage collaboration and promote the vital role of the community services sector. We congratulate Annette on representing our organisation and helping to raise the profile of disability services through this engaging discussion.

Thank you to CPA Australia NT for the invitation and for creating a platform that connects leaders and inspires professional growth.
