The story of Philippi East is not simply about AI, drones, cameras or technology. It is about what happens when business, SAPS, government, community organisations, private security and civil society stop working in silos and start working as one system.

That is why this model works.

Technology gives us better information. Partnership gives us better coordination. Community gives us local intelligence and legitimacy.
Business brings resources, innovation and sustainability and SAPS remains central to the law-enforcement response.

Philippi East is a demonstration of what is possible when we choose collaboration over fragmentation and action over simply complaining about crime. The question is no longer, “Who is going to fix this?”
The question is, “What can we do together?”

Join us. Help us turn Fear into Flourish and build a model that can be replicated across South Africa.

In a bid to combat rampant crime, a groundbreaking initiative in Philippi East harnesses the power of drones, AI, and facial recognition, promising to transform safety in one of Cape Town's most troubled communities.
