Silver Linings Foundation would like to extend our deepest condolences to Christine Dunne and her family on the unexpected passing of her daughter, Valarie.

As a mother of a child with Aicardi syndrome, my heart is breaking as I remember Valarie was the very first person we met who also had this rare diagnosis. We still remember our girls laying on a mat together, coo-ing to each other - such a simple, beautiful connection that will forever stay with us.

Over the years, Christine generously donated many of Valarie's adaptive equipment pieces to Silver Linings Foundation so that other medically-complex children could benefit from em. Their family's generosity has helped so many others.

Valarie's smile lit up every room she entered. Her joy was unmistakable and unforgettable.

We are holding Christine and her entire family in prayer for comfort, strength, and peace during this incredibly difficult time.
