The Harvest Transitional Living Program, Inc. We are a 501(c)3 org. We teach real life skills to help their path to independence. Our mission is to socially,
educationally, and mutually improve their lives.

that help youth in foster care with resources and assist those that have aged out of care, and/ or are dealing with probation/parole and need a place to call home. Our Mission: To operate residential and non residential programs, which
will transition youth into a life of serving God, serving others, and
becoming a productive member of society.

• Around 1,100 young adults age out or leave Pennsylvania's foster care system at age 18 or older each year (with some estimates placing the annual number between 700 and 900 depending on specific tracking criteria without a permanent family setting).

• Homelessness Rate: Approximately 25% (1 in 4) of youth who age out of PA foster care experience homelessness.

• Additional Outcomes:
• Around 37% lack stable housing.
• Only 44% to 49% are employed by age 21.
• Nearly 1 in 4 have been arrested since leaving care.
• Only 25% remain in extended foster care at age 19, even though Pennsylvania Act 91 allows youth to stay in care or reenter up to age 21.

These are staggering statistics! 📈😫
