🎉 9 YEARS OF PEDAL 4 PEACE! 🚲

Nine years ago, Pedal 4 Peace began with a simple belief:

People matter. Everyone deserves a place to belong, an opportunity to get outside, and a chance to find a little peace.

At Pedal 4 Peace, we believe in people regardless of race, religion, s*x, or creed. We believe that through bikes and outdoor activities, we can bring peace and spearhead development in our community.

What started nine years ago has grown into an organization that simply loves all things bikes and the outdoors. ❤️

Over the years, that journey has taken us far beyond just two wheels. From community ride outs and a youth program, to mountain biking and BMX, to camping and horseback riding, we've found countless ways to get youth and adults outside to try something new, build relationships, challenge themselves, and maybe discover a little peace they never knew was there.

But the bikes and activities have never been the whole story.

The people are.

It's the kids who found confidence.
The families who found community.
The adults and youth who rediscovered the outdoors.
The friendships that were formed.
The moments that became memories.

And every person who showed up, volunteered, donated, participated, encouraged, or simply believed in what Pedal 4 Peace could become has been part of this journey.

Nine years later, we're still riding. Still exploring. Still building community. Still finding peace.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of the Pedal 4 Peace family over the past nine years.

Here's to the memories we've made, the lives we've touched, and all the miles still ahead. 🚲❤️

🚲🔧 Youth can earn STEAM through bikes! 🔥

Through a nationally accredited curriculum, Pedal4Peace gives young people hands-on experience learning bicycle mechanics: turning curiosity into practical STEM/STEAM skills, confidence, career exploration, and entrepreneurship.

Youth can grow into junior mechanics and earn extra cash by helping fix bikes, creating opportunity through skills they can use in their communities. Every adjustment, repair, and ride is a chance to learn, lead, and build a brighter future. 💙🧡

Families, supporters, volunteers, and potential partners: let’s keep investing in youth through cycling, learning, and meaningful opportunity. Come ride, connect, and help us build the next generation of leaders! 🙌

Every first ride begins with a little courage: and a community cheering you on. 🚲💙

Pedal4Peace had the joy of teaching college students how to ride bikes for the first time at Howard University. What started with learning balance and building confidence became a powerful reminder that cycling should be accessible to everyone.

Bikes create more than movement. They create joy, connection, and opportunities to grow together. We’re proud to help make those first pedals possible and to build community one ride at a time. 🙌🏾

Let’s goooo! 🚲💪 Our Pedal4Peace youth are learning that a BMX track is more than a place to ride: it’s a place to serve, grow, and take ownership.

At Revolution Bike Park, they’re getting hands-on experience helping care for and maintain the race track. Every load of dirt, every shared task, and every lap built on that work teaches teamwork, responsibility, pride, and stewardship. 🙌

This is youth mentorship beyond the bike: learning to care for the spaces that bring our community together and understanding that strong riders: and strong communities: are built through commitment and teamwork.

Families, volunteers, and supporters: there’s a place for you in this work. Come ride, help, connect, and be part of building a more united community through cycling. ✌️

The gate drops soon… and EVERYTHING gets real. 🏁🔥

This is the moment our junior riders lock in: focused eyes, steady hands, racing hearts, and a few butterflies in the mix. 🚲💨

But confidence isn’t built in a single race. It’s built through mentorship, practice, encouragement, and showing up one more time: until “I can’t” becomes “WATCH ME.” 💪🏽✨

We’re proud of every young rider at the gate. Every level is welcome. Every effort matters. Every ride helps build discipline, courage, community, and peace. 💙🧡

When riders, families, youth, NYPD officers, and community leaders stand side by side, trust has room to grow: and neighborhoods become stronger.

This is what Partners in Peace is all about: creating real connections, opening lines of communication, and bringing people together through the power of cycling. Every ride is an opportunity to listen, learn, and move forward as one community.

No barriers. No division. Just people pedaling toward unity, safer neighborhoods, and a more peaceful future. 🔥
