Adopt A Boxer Rescue is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) charitable organization in the northeast that rescues, rehabilitates, and re-homes unwanted and abandoned boxer dogs and their friends. We strive to inform others about the realities of pet ownership, promote neutering, and encourage responsible care. It is our hope that our efforts will enhance the lives of people as well as companion animals. Help us to help boxers.

💗 SELENA IS COMING TO AMERICA… BUT WHERE WILL SHE CALL HOME? 🇺🇸🐾

Selena is just 2 years old, and she has already been through more than any young dog should.

She is a super friendly, happy girl who loves people, loves kids, and is dog friendly. She is fully vetted and has been given the incredible opportunity to leave Turkey and come to the United States next week. ✈️❤️

But there is one very important piece missing…

SELENA NEEDS A HOME. 💔

We don’t want this sweet girl to travel thousands of miles toward her second chance without knowing where she will sleep, who will love her, or where she finally belongs.

TOWSER IS WAITING… AND HE SHOULD NOT HAVE TO WAIT MUCH LONGER. 💔

Some dogs arrive at rescue with a heartbreaking story.

Others arrive with no story at all.

That’s TOWSER.

He was found as a stray, sitting in a shelter and waiting for someone to come looking for him. But no one did. 💔

We don’t know where he came from.
We don’t know how long he was on his own.
We don’t know how a sweet, gentle boy like TOWSER ended up alone.

What we DO know is that Towser is ready to leave that chapter behind.

At 5–6 years old, Towser is a wonderful middle-aged gentleman who is mild-mannered, friendly, crate trained, walks well on leash, and does great with other dogs. He is reported to be good with children and can live with kids 5 and older.

He isn’t demanding.

He isn’t complicated.

He isn’t asking for perfection.

Frank just wants someone to choose him. ❤️

Imagine spending your days wondering where you belong… and then finally having someone say:

“You’re home now, TOWSER. You’re safe. You’re ours.”

That is the moment we are desperately hoping for.

🏡 Towser needs a foster or, even better, an adopter.

He has already lost his home once.
Please don’t let him lose more time waiting for his second chance.

TOWSER deserves a family who will see past the fact that he was found as a stray and see the wonderful dog standing in front of them.

Pongo (foster found) L and Dottie on the R are buddies in boarding. With so little foster help we had to board them in a kennel, without the kennel they would be dead. Pongo is a1 year old Dalmation and Dottie is a 2 yr old boxer girl. Both are sweet and dog friendly. They love people. These cuties are looking for a foster or adopter . Located on Long Island .

❤️ BELLA IS READY FOR HER FOREVER FAMILY! ❤️

Three weeks ago, Bella age 6 arrived in foster care, and we’ve watched this beautiful girl slowly begin to realize something she may not have known before…

Life can be good. People can be kind. And she is safe. 🥹🐾

True to the 3-3-3 rule, Bella is coming out of her shell and her adorable personality is shining brighter every day!

Every morning, the moment she comes out of her crate, Bella goes straight for a toy! 🧸 Her excitement to see her foster mom is so big that her entire body becomes one giant wigglebutt—she can barely stand still long enough to get her leash on! 😂❤️

She LOVES her people. And now she’s even trying to make friends with her foster’s Boston Terrier. He’s not particularly interested in playing with her, but Bella takes it in stride. She simply keeps being sweet. They walk together several times a day, and every so often they stop for a little nuzzle or affectionate lick. 🥰

We think Bella would absolutely LOVE having a friendly, like-sized dog to call her buddy.

And then there’s her crate progress… ❤️

Bella is comfortable and quiet in her crate and has even started going inside all on her own when she knows there are treats waiting for her. The only time she lets her foster know she’s there is when she needs to go outside to potty. What a good girl! 👏🐾

Next week, Bella will be spayed, and then she’ll be ready for the next—and most important—chapter of her life.

Her forever home. 🏡❤️

Bella has spent the last three weeks learning what it feels like to be safe, loved and cared for. Now we want to find the family who will show her that this is what the rest of her life can look like.

A family who will spoil her.
A family who will make her part of everything.
A family who will love that wigglebutt for the rest of her days. ❤️

💔 SASKIA IS STILL WAITING… 💔

Saskia is a sweet girl who has been patiently waiting for someone to see her, choose her, and give her the life she deserves. 🐾❤️

Right now, she’s sitting in a kennel, waiting for the day someone walks through the door and says, “You’re coming home with me.” 🥹

Saskia is a wonderful girl who is great with other dogs and would love to have a canine friend by her side. A home with a fenced-in yard where she can safely run, play, and enjoy being a dog would be a dream come true for her. 🏡🐶

She shouldn’t have to spend her days behind kennel doors.

She deserves a soft bed.
She deserves a family.
She deserves a yard to explore.
She deserves a doggy sibling.
Most of all, she deserves to know what it feels like to finally be home. ❤️

Davina wants everyone to know she is heart worm negative ! A huge Ty to her foster who gave her a home to start the process and her adoptive pawrents who took her in and paid for the treatment as a bonus to rescue. It costs rescue about $2000 a dog to vet, transport, and then hw treat a dog. So many hw positive dogs are left for dead in shelters. It’s not their fault they had crappy owners. They all deserve to live like Davina ❤️ Ty donors for helping them .
