We love having local experts guide our community families! 💙

We are so excited to welcome Sandy Harberger, a licensed speech-language pathologist, for our First Signs for Babies & Toddlers series!

This isn't just a playtime class; it's an opportunity for you and your child to learn early American Sign Language signs together. Miss Sandy will share professional, simple strategies you can use at home to accelerate your child's speech and language path, all while having fun at the same time!

Pick the 3-week Friday session that works for you:
• Session 1: June 12 – June 26 (10:30 - 11:15 AM)
• Session 2: July 10 – July 24 (10:30 - 11:15 AM)

J Play Days are BACK! Join us for our first Family Playground TONIGHT, Monday, June 1 from 5:30 - 7:30 PM at the York JCC. ☀️

Families are invited to enjoy our playground while spending time with friends and other JCC families. Pack a snack or picnic, bring your own camping chairs or blankets, and enjoy a fun time together while the kids play.

This is a casual, members-only benefit designed to give families a welcoming place to gather, relax, and connect this summer.

Beginning June 1st (weather permitting):
• Mondays & Wednesdays: 5:30 - 7:30 PM
• Sundays: 9 AM - 12 PM

The York JCC is dedicated to supporting community members in need through food assistance and compassionate care. Our Project Manna Food Pantry and Matan B’Seter Food Sharing Cabinet work hand in hand to fight hunger, reduce food insecurity, and provide resources to anyone in York seeking support, all with dignity, respect, and kindness.

Today marks the start of our Summer Food Drive (June 1 - 30). With school out, many families lose access to school meals and face higher food insecurity. Your donations, big or small, ensure our neighbors stay nourished.

We are currently collecting:
• Summer Essentials: Sunscreen, SPF Chapstick
• Kid-Friendly Meals: Mac & cheese, Chef Boyardee, PB&J, Cereal, Oatmeal
• Snacks & Drinks: Granola bars, Pop-Tarts, Crackers, Juice
• Proteins: Canned chicken & tuna

Make this summer your most active one yet! ☀️

The York JCC’s 100 Days of Summer Fitness Challenge officially kicks off on Sunday, June 14. The goal is simple: complete 100 workouts of any type between June 14 and September 22, and you'll win a free t-shirt!

Whether you enjoy walking, running, hiking, group fitness classes, weight training, or swimming... if it’s exercise, it counts. You can even log multiple workouts per day.

The Details:
• June 14 – September 22
• Free and open to all ages
• We will use the Trainerize app to log workouts. All the details on how to get the app will be shared with you as soon as you register.
