🏆🧵 Celebrating our next generation of creatives!

16 students. 16 certificates. 16 young creatives who showed up, learned, created, and took their work all the way to the runway. ❤️

During our WAVVZ of Stitching Youth Fashion Showcase at the Worcester Art Museum, we had the opportunity to recognize each student individually and celebrate everything they accomplished throughout the program. From learning the fundamentals of sewing and design to developing their own ideas and ultimately seeing their creativity come alive at the fashion show — this moment was about THEM.

Every certificate represents more than completing a workshop. It represents dedication, confidence, creativity, and another young person discovering what they are capable of.

We’re proud of every single one of you. Keep creating, keep learning, and most importantly — PASS IT ON. 🌊🧵

50 seconds of a night we’ll never forget. 🥹✨

Our WAVVZ of Stitching Youth Fashion Showcase brought months of creativity, learning, and hard work to life at the Worcester Art Museum. From our young designers taking the runway in pieces they created, to special performances and the WAVVZ Concepts finale. This night was truly about creativity, community, and what’s possible when we pour into the next generation. 🧵❤️

A special thank you to everyone who helped bring this vision to life — our families, models, interns, volunteers, partners, guests, and everyone who came out to support our youth.

The past 8 weeks have been such a joy getting to know these young designers, watching their ideas grow, and seeing them make each piece their own.

Now it’s finally their time to take the runway. Come out tomorrow, support them, and celebrate everything they’ve worked so hard on. 🤍

As the North High internship comes to an end, we wanted to highlight one of the projects our interns worked on this semester through WAVVZ NewAge Creative Lab the “Warm Hearts” Project led by our Executive Director 🤍

Through this project, students created handmade scarves, tote bags, hygiene care packages, and 3D printed hearts for members of the homeless community while learning hands-on creative and production skills throughout the process.

From cutting fabric, sewing and serging scarves, designing labels, assembling over 50 bags, documenting projects through photography, and learning different creative workflows alongside our Lead Creative Director , students gained real experience through teamwork, design, and community service.

Some care packages will be handed directly to individuals on Main Street, while others will be donated to to continue supporting members of the community.

Proud of this group and everything they’ve learned throughout this internship experience. ✨
