New and improved Friends' Socials are returning!!! Please join us at Offsides on March 31 for free appetizers, great conversation, prizes, games, and a cash bar. Feel free to bring a friend or just yourself---come for the entire social, or just for a quick drink and friendly conversation.

This past Tuesday The Friends of the Opera House presented a check for $15,000 at the city council meeting. Mayor Turner spoke and was very positive in his complements to the Friends and their hard work in supporting the Opera House, and assisting in assuring that it continues to be an important social and cultural center of our community.

A group of 25 active, older adults from SOAR at Dorr recently attended a live performance of Singing in the Rain at the historic Woodstock Opera House as guests of the Friends of the Opera House.
They all enjoyed the play and were especially impressed by the fact that the orchestra was under the stage, not out on the floor of the auditorium---one of the changes as a result of the renovations.

Many of our guests had never been in the Opera House before---it's always great to introduce local residents to this magnificent building that we all love.

Are You Feeling Lucky?

The Friends of the Opera House are holding 50/50 raffles at selected productions this spring. The more tickets we sell, the more money there is for you to take home. Look for the 50/50 raffle table in the Opera House library on March 7 (Neil Diamond), March 21 (The Cleaverlys LIVE), April 19 (An Afternoon with Levi Kreis) and May 16 (Stevie McVie). The winning ticket will be announced at the end of the intermission at each production.

Treasure Island was a massive hit once again! This annual interactive production is a true highlight for the Friends of the Opera House team. We were thrilled to welcome over 300 local children across two incredible performances yesterday!
