Join Woodstock Pride for Transgender Day of Remembrance 🏳️‍⚧️

There will be a candle lit vigil outside of City Hall (candles provided) 🕯

Then we will move inside the Woodstock Pride Community Center and open a sharing space to welcome those who wish to speak, share a poem, sing, ect.

Come together to be in community, share and remember.

🌈 Woodstock Pride Board Nominations are OPEN through October 26!

We have 5 seats available for 2-year terms and are looking for self-motivated, civic-minded folks with a heart for service and a passion for our LGBTQIA+ community!

✅ Paid member (or join by Nov. 1) ✅ At least one year volunteering with Woodstock Pride ✅ Attended at least one general membership meeting in the past year

All three requirements must be met to appear on the ballot. Nominations will be reviewed, and those who don't qualify will be contacted and won't appear on the ballot.

Know someone who fits the bill? Give them a nudge to nominate themselves! Sometimes good people need a little encouragement to step up. 💪🌈

Your community needs you. Nominate yourself by October 26! 🏳️‍🌈

Every first Friday of the month! It is free and for all ages.

Fi****ms Safety Class
November 7, 2026 at 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

If you’ve never touched a fi***rm before—or if the very thought of one makes you a bit nervous—this class was designed specifically for you.

This is a zero-pressure, non-shooting introductory course focused entirely on building comfort, knowledge, and safety. There are no "dumb questions" here. Our goal is to demystify fi***rms in a calm, welcoming environment where your safety and peace of mind are the only priorities.

Beginner Yarn Crochet Class
October 24
1:30 – 4:30 PM

Have you ever wanted to try your hand at making things out of yarn?

This no pressure beginner's class will introduce you to some of the basic stitches used in crochet. Your instructor (Linda the "yarn witch" of Knot Magic) has been working with crochet for over 25 years, and is excited to help others join in this hobby!

Bring your own yarn or pick from our selection! This class will walk you through making either a rose or a coaster, with patterns written in simple English and "pattern shorthand" so you can begin to learn how to read other patterns.

Coming out isn't a singular event, it can happen on the daily and we as LGBTQ+ people have to make choices whether to out ourselves to strangers, co-workers, new friends, ect. It can take bravery, and careful choices of when it is safe to come out, or not.
