Jazz on the Square is free to attend, but not free to make happen.

For our June 19 open jam at The Loft at Ethereal, we are recommending a donation of $10 to $20 per person if you are able. Students are welcome to give what they can.

Your donation helps support the musicians, event costs, sound, promotion, and the work it takes to keep live jazz growing in Woodstock. It also helps us work toward future student scholarship support as Jazz on the Square continues to grow.

There is no set cover, and everyone is welcome regardless. If you can donate, it is truly appreciated. If you cannot, please still come, listen, bring a friend, and be part of the night.

One of the best parts of Jazz on the Square at Ethereal is the whole evening around it.

A beautiful upstairs room, great local atmosphere, and live jazz in the heart of Woodstock.

Jazz on the Square is an open jam, which means you are welcome to bring your instrument, listen, meet other players, and be part of the evening.

You do not have to be a pro. You do not have to know everyone. You just have to love the music.

The last time we gathered there, the room was full, the music was alive, and the upstairs Loft had a glow all its own.

One of the things we are most excited about for our June 19 Jazz on the Square event is the setting.

JOTS will be at The Loft at Ethereal in Woodstock from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and the evening can be more than just the music. Come early, settle in, and enjoy what Ethereal does so well: handcrafted chocolate, café fare, coffee, hot chocolate, craft cocktails, conversation, and a warm local atmosphere.

Then stay for the music.

As always, jazz musicians of all ages and experience levels are welcome to bring their instruments, sit in, and be part of the evening.

Woodstock jazz friends, what should the next chapter of Jazz on the Square feel and sound like?

As Jazz on the Square grows into its next chapter, we want to keep building something that feels alive, welcoming, and worth coming out for.

QUESTION:

What would make you excited to attend a local jazz night?
