For Katrina’s 28th birthday, she’ll be running 28 miles to support of the Britt Foundation!!

Mess Hall will be hosting the after-party where they will be donating a percentage of proceeds to the Britt Foundation ALL DAY LONG!

What an incredible night at Eugene Ashley High School’s JROTC Awards Ceremony.

The Britt Foundation was honored to return and present the Golden Carabiner Medal to Kennedy Lufholm as the recipient of the 2025–2026 Mountaineering Leadership Award.

This award recognizes courage, grit, leadership, and a spirit of adventure,the willingness to step into hard things, encourage others, and lead with a great attitude.

A huge thank you to LtCol Robert Rehder and Master Chief Deschamps for inviting us to be part of such a meaningful evening and for the way you continue to pour into these cadets.

Congratulations to Kennedy and to all the students recognized at the ceremony. Nights like this are a reminder of why we do what we do.

Chris Brittingham, known to many as “Britt,” loved adventure, the outdoors, living life fully, and bringing people together. He also loved coffee. Chris was known for roasting his own beans and sharing fresh coffee with those around him, especially during early mornings, long conversations, and moments of fellowship.

For Chris, coffee was never just coffee. It was a way to slow down, connect, and build community.
The Britt Foundation was created to carry that spirit forward by giving students the chance to step into hard things, discover confidence, build friendships, and grow as leaders.

Today, we continue that tradition through Britt Brew. Roasted locally in Wilmington, North Carolina, every bag helps carry Chris’s spirit forward while supporting our mission to develop young leaders through adventure, mentorship, and life-changing outdoor experiences.👇

This week our Britt Foundation team traveled from Wilmington to the White Mountains of New Hampshire to take on vertical ice. With support from the Special Operations Climbers Coalition and AMGA-certified guides, our students stepped onto frozen walls, trusted their gear, and pushed past fear.
