Creativity was in the air this morning!

We loved hosting the USK Wilmington NC as they captured the magic, oddities, and antiques tucked into every corner of Legacy. From rare finds to fine lines, there’s truly something here for every eye—especially the artist’s! 🖼️

With its curved silhouette, gracefully rounded edges, weathered blue finish, and delicate earth-toned florals, this French Country Bedroom Set (c. 1900–1930) exudes sophisticated charm.

Antique sets like this, with bed frame, side table, vanity, chair, and matching lamp, are so often separated after a century, making it a rare opportunity to complete a room in one trip.

This Sunday’s workshop was all about the artistry of reupholstering furniture. Participants rolled up their sleeves and learned how to bring an antique chair back to life under the guidance of our exceptionally talented artist and volunteer, Claire Rendaud.

Sure, you could buy a mass-produced chair from a big box store, but these workshop participants know that nothing beats the pride from breathing new life into a piece with rich history and character. Thank you to everyone who joined us and created something beautiful!

Do you love learning new skills, from window restoration to upholster? We can’t wait to see you at our next workshop! In the meantime, pop into the warehouse Wednesday - Sunday and explore vintage furniture, historic building materials, and unique decor.
