AIDS Delaware's mission is to eliminate the spread and stigma of HIV/AIDS, improve the lives of those living with HIV/AIDS, and promote community health through comprehensive and culturally-sensitive services, education programs, and advocacy. The largest AIDS service organization in the state, AIDS Delaware supports residents affected by HIV/AIDS with ongoing case management, advocacy, and educa

tion. Year round, we offer:
* Free HIV testing
* Educational programs
* Food pantry/personal care items
* Referrals - dental/mental-wellness/nutritional counseling
* Referrals - transportation for medical/social services appointments
* In-home support, as needed
* Assist clients with health insurance/housing/drug & alcohol treatment

In May 2026, 6 new HIV infections were reported in Delaware, bringing the total number of new diagnoses to 38 so far this year.

Big things are popping up across Delaware.

AIDS Delaware is proud to partner with the Delaware Health and Social Services, and the Division of Public Health to promote two powerful HIV prevention tools: HIV testing and PrEP.

From now through the fall, you'll see our prevention billboards in communities around the state. This PrEP billboard, located at 4th and Spruce in downtown Wilmington, highlights a medication that can prevent HIV transmission when taken as prescribed.
