📜 Legislation updating Delaware's Grant-in-Aid requirements is now law.

Governor Matt Meyer has signed Speaker Rep. Melissa Minor-Brown's HB 190, which establishes clearer requirements related to eligibility, governance, financial documentation, accountability, and the use of GIA funding.

DANA advocated for this bill, preventing changes that could have negatively impacted nonprofits, and ensuring a stronger bill was enacted.

Our 40th is a chance to celebrate how far Delaware’s nonprofit community has come while also looking ahead to what’s next.

Today, though, we’re simply grateful – grateful for the organizations that show up every day, the people behind them, and the community we’ve been lucky to be part of for the last four decades.

💪 Strong leadership builds a stronger nonprofit sector.

DANA kicked off its Board Chair & CEO Leadership series on Friday, bringing together the leadership teams of several nonprofits for the first of this multi-part program designed to strengthen the partnership of the board chair and CEO.

Our own CEO Melissa Hopkins and Board Chair Kathleen Hawkins are participating in this year's edition, which continues in September with virtual sessions and an individual follow-up. Thanks to all who are participating!
