Big things are happening at Adams Elementary 🙌

We’re proud to support their students and staff with a recent Genesis Foundation grant to upgrade physical education equipment, helping create more opportunities for kids to move, play, and build lifelong healthy habits.

The impact goes far beyond the gym. This year alone, the Genesis Foundation has helped provide shoes for every student, new PE equipment, and essential items like beds and cribs for families in need. It’s all part of a bigger mission: showing up for our communities in meaningful ways.

Shoutout to the incredible team at Adams for everything they do every day. We’re grateful to be a small part of it. 💙

“Those foam soccer balls that we got, we did not have any of those, and it’s really been hard for us to teach the curriculum that we normally teach at other schools,” said Grady Beehler, the PE teacher at Adams Elementary. “So having those foam soccer balls is going to be a game changer at Adams.”

Thank you to the Kiwanis Club of Downtown Wichita for their generous $2,500 donation in support of our Beds for Kids program. Because of partners like you, more children in our community will have a safe, comfortable place to sleep.

Each child receives a complete bed set, including a mattress, frame, linens, pillow, and blanket, everything they need for a warm, restful night.

We’re grateful for a community that continues to help kids in meaningful ways. 💙

Colvin Elementary was the perfect way to close out this year’s Kicks for Kids program. ❤️👟

As our final shoe drop of the year, every student at Colvin was personally sized and received a brand new pair of shoes, a moment filled with excitement, confidence, and pride.

Each year, Kicks for Kids by the Genesis Foundation for Fitness and Tennis (GFFT) serves 5 elementary schools across Wichita, ensuring hundreds of children head home with shoes that truly fit and feel brand new.

A special thank you to TOYOTA Motor Corporation for their generous support in helping make this impact possible.

From the first school to the last, the impact is the same, smiles, joy, and kids who feel ready to take on anything.

Every child deserves a fresh start — and for many Wichita kids, that starts with a brand new pair of shoes. ❤️

Through Kicks for Kids, the Genesis Foundation for Fitness and Tennis has gifted almost 20,000 pairs of shoes since 2019. This year, we personally sized and fitted every student at five local elementary schools.
The smiles. The jumps. The excitement when they see their new shoes — it’s priceless. Many kids arrive at school in shoes that are worn through, and being able to send them home with something new in the box is incredible.
At GFFT, we’re dedicated to giving kids the confidence and opportunities they deserve — because sometimes, the simplest things make the biggest difference. 👟✨

This spring, we’re putting more than 2,500 brand-new pairs of shoes on the feet of Wichita kids.

For 20 years, we’ve learned that sometimes removing barriers starts with something simple — shoes that fit. Shoes that don’t hurt. Shoes that help kids run, jump, and walk into school with confidence. This year, we’re partnering with five local elementary schools to make it happen.

Thank you to our incredible Genesis staff, members, sponsors, and volunteers who make this possible.
