Hello Everyone! There is some sort of Yule event happening at the First UU Church of Wichita, but IT IS NOT one of our CUUPs events.

The First UU Church has put in their newsletter (without speaking to us first or at all) that they will no longer sponsor our CUUPs chapter.

We are looking for suitable meeting places now and are working on ways to keep our CUUPs National affiliation. Stay tuned!

Our Yule Meditation has been cancelled because of schedule conflicts. Sorry we will not see each other for the Solar New Year :( Have a Happy Thanksgiving for the Harvest holiday and a Happy Yule!

Wow! Labor Day has come and gone, schools are back in session, and NOW we get the 100 degree days? Seriously, Kansas?!?

Our next business meeting is on Sunday, September 29th at 5:00pm, when we will work out our plans for the Annual Feast For The Dead (held on 02 Nov). Let's get all hands on deck for this big event - come take part and help it be our best!

Goings on Around Wichita : a new study group is forming to work with the " Rise Up & Call Her Name - a woman-honoring journey into global earth-based spiritualities " curriculum. They will be meeting at Broomsticks Crossing, 1610 S GeoWash Blvd, starting the first Monday evening in June. For more info, call Broomsticks Crossing at 316-260-2422.

Next Gathering - Friday, May 17th!

The topic is Ritual Tools - why to use tools, traditional or non-traditional choices, and ways to use them. You are welcome to bring tools that are safe to have in an open, public circle. We will have a communal 'charging' table for magickal items you may wish to bring for that purpose.
