From Wesley Commentary-Psalm 46:19 in Context

Psalm 46:10 follows verses describing God’s power to calm wars, break weapons, and bring peace. The call to “be still” is a divine instruction to trust in God’s protection and to rest in His authority, knowing that His glory will be evident to all nations.
