High costs are hitting everyone’s wallet, and for working families juggling childcare, increased fuel and food bills, and the knowledge that the coming months bring winter heating bills and the added expense of providing holiday cheer for their children – sometimes it can seem like too much.
This year, Carroll County families have visited our mobile distributions and partner pantry network nearly 20% more often than last year — that’s more than 15,000 additional neighbors walking through our doors.
From October through December, we’re projecting nearly 37,000 visits across Carroll County — the highest in our program’s history.
