Scholarship Announcements πŸ’›

Over the next few weeks, Bee a Rae of Sunshine Foundation will have the honor of presenting FOUR memorial scholarships totaling $15,000 to incredible graduating seniors from the Class of 2026.

These scholarships were created in memory of MaKenzi Rae Cash, whose kindness, compassion, love for others, and passion for helping people and animals continue to inspire our mission every day. This year is especially meaningful to our family, as 2026 would have been MaKenzi’s graduating class year.

We are incredibly proud to recognize students who embody the values that MaKenzi lived by β€” kindness, leadership, compassion, resilience, service to others, and making a positive difference in the world around them.

Our 2026 scholarship recipients represent futures in:
πŸ’™ Nursing
πŸ’› Animal Welfare
🏐 Volleyball & Community Leadership
πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Military Service & Leadership

We cannot wait to celebrate these amazing students and share their stories with our community over the coming weeks.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support Bee a Rae of Sunshine Foundation and helps us keep MaKenzi’s light shining bright through acts of kindness, advocacy, and opportunities for local youth.

πŸ’š May is Mental Health Awareness Month πŸ’š

Mental health mattersβ€”every single day. It affects how we think, feel, and connect with others, yet so many still struggle in silence.

Mental health conditions are medical conditions, and the people living with them are so much more than a diagnosis. This month, let’s lead with compassion, understanding, and kindness. A simple act of empathy can make a lasting difference in someone’s life.

At Bee a Rae of Sunshine Foundation, we remain committed to raising awareness, supporting youth mental health, and creating a community where everyone feels seen, heard, and valuedβ€”just as MaKenzi always did. πŸ’›
