📣 Meet this year’s Grand Marshal of the Westminster Fallfest Parade, Chuck Sullivan!

The 2026 Alumni of the Year McDaniel College, Chuck retired in 2017 after more than 40 years with Fuchs North America where he provided and supplied seasonings, spices, and ingredients and created menus for food chains.

Chuck has continued to give back to his alma mater, serving on the Alumni Council and as a member of the WMC Heritage Society. He also was honored with McDaniel’s Alumni Community Service Award for his volunteer work with the Boy Scouts of America.

The first-ever Carroll Book Festival is coming to Westminster next month and McDaniel College is proud to be a sponsor of this inaugural event. If you are interested in getting involved, volunteers are needed for various shifts across all areas of the festival. Submit your application today at https://carrollbookfestival.org/volunteer by selecting that you are part of a group and then choosing “McDaniel College” from the dropdown. (Note: volunteers must be over 14 years old)

Green Terrors going to the Baltimore Orioles game tonight may see a familiar face! ⚾ Baltimore resident and lifelong fan 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿 '𝟬𝟲 will be performing the National Anthem before the first pitch of Yankees/Os at 6:35 p.m. Be sure to give an extra loud "O" tonight to show our McDaniel support!
