We will be selling shirts to help spread awareness and raise funds for programming.

I want to thank Billy Lyve for supporting our efforts from Day 1.

Easter and what it represents was very important to my brother. This is our first year without him but, his name will be everywhere.

HOPE IS REAL — Here’s What’s Changing in the Fight Against Addiction

Every day, new breakthroughs and shifts in how we approach addiction are saving lives — and restoring hope for families who’ve been through the storm.

✅ Medication-assisted treatment in jails saves lives.
People who receive treatment while incarcerated are much less likely to overdose or relapse after release. Healing is replacing punishment.

✅ Mindfulness-based therapies are helping people regain joy and balance.
Programs that teach mindfulness and emotional regulation are reducing cravings and giving people tools to manage stress and rebuild purpose.

✅ New non-addictive pain treatments are being developed.
Researchers are creating safer ways to manage pain without the risks of opioids — protecting future generations from dependency.

✅ Brain stimulation research is showing promise.
Innovative therapies are exploring how to “reset” brain pathways connected to addiction, offering hope for those who’ve struggled the longest.

✅ Compassionate policies are replacing criminalization.
Communities and law enforcement are shifting toward treatment over punishment — because recovery can’t begin in a jail cell alone.

✅ Programs like Hotspotting are reducing overdoses through wraparound care.
By connecting people to housing, mental health care, and community support, recovery becomes not just possible — but sustainable.

Hey Everyone,

I wanted to share a quick update on what we’ve been working on at The Push Hope Project.

✅ Our first priority is laying the groundwork — launching social media, building our website, and creating the marketing tools we need.

🤝 At the same time, we’ve been reaching out to national organizations to form partnerships. One that really stood out is the Partnership to End Addiction. Their team is excited to work with us and help move our mission forward.

We appreciate your patience as we take these first steps. Our goal is to build an organization that truly brings value to the community and supports our neighbors in meaningful ways.

The strongest evidence tells us that families benefit most when they have access to:

✅ Educational tools – understanding addiction as a disease, learning healthy communication, and navigating treatment systems

💡 When these services come together, families experience lower stress, stronger coping skills, and better recovery outcomes—not just for the individual in treatment, but for the whole family unit.

Too many kids in Maryland are losing daily life with their parents because of substance abuse.

Grandparents are stepping up — nearly 42,000 in our state are raising their grandchildren today. In 1 out of 3 child removals, substance use is part of the reason.

This crisis doesn’t just impact those struggling with addiction. It’s reshaping families, and children are carrying the weight.

Let’s not forget the kids in this epidemic. They deserve our awareness, our support, and our voices.
