We currently have a glitch with the cover photo maybe showing McDaniel College, but that will be rectified by tomorrow. I just don't want to hold people up and I want people to be able to get their shirts and other items before the end of July so I'm opening the store tonight!!! Go Shop!!!

Coming soon! Our Feather Fund apparel store will launch TOMORROW! I'll post the link here. Orders should turn around in 2 weeks, so order in June to guarantee delivery before you leave for Pony Penning! The store will be open until mid-August, then our fall sale will launch in October. Congratulations to Daphne, Lillian and Katy Joy, recipients of a 2026 Feather Fund Foal Award!

Fifteen-year-old, Daphne is from Virginia. After coming close last year, she gained even more horse experience and reapplied. Her love of Chincoteague Ponies drove her to start a business making and selling hair scrunchies to earn money toward her foal.

Fifteen-year-old. Lillian is from Virginia. She's overcome many odds to prepare to raise a foal, always focusing on her goals. She wowed us with her perseverance, experience, and love of horses and Chincoteague Ponies.

Eighteen-year-old, Katy Joy is from Ohio. She was chosen to honor the memory of Cheryl deBeaubien, who - along with her husband, Scott - sponsors this special award. Cheryl was touched by the story of Carollynn Suplee and the mission of the Feather Fund. Katy is a hard working, Chincoteague Pony loving gal who has applied to the Feather Fund in the past. We were happy to see her apply again.

Someone special in our Feather Fund family lost her home and animals in a devastating fire (the horses are okay). Sam took in one of our Feather Fund ponies that we struggled to place after she was returned and shares her with her many barn girls. She is an incredibly kind and giving person and this year's recipient rides and keeps her foal there as well. Please consider donating to help. Sam embodies everything that the Feather Fund is about- changing lives with the power and love of horses, several of which are her Chincoteague Ponies.

Everyone has been asking how the girls have been doing with the three foals the Feather Fund purchased at Pony Penning, and they answer is, They are all doing GREAT! They are all so in love with the babies they took home.

In case you don't know...
Sisters, Anna and Eva of Ohio took home Skylark's bay pinto filly by Ajax - foal #39.
Emily of Virginia took home Milly Sue's chestnut pinto filly by Don Leonard Stud II - foal # 47
And, after being outbid two times on other foals, Elaina of Michigan took home May's bay filly by Ken - foal #70. In case you worried.... She is madly in love with her beautiful girl!

And that's a wrap for Pony Penning 2025! So much fun with our Feather Fund family celebrating 100 years of the pony swim. We spent our last evening together on the beach with past and current recipients. A 20-year span between our winners here, from 2005 to 2025.

Thank you to all of our supporters who contribute towards making these dreams come true! We could not do it without you. 🪶

Our final purchase of the day was #70 (May x Ken) for Elaina! Our recipients always have the best taste and Elaina was outbid twice before winning the bid on this stunning filly.
