We hope our Feather Fund family can turn out this Saturday to celebrate Melissa Jester's life.

Wear a jacket! It will be cool and this is an outside event. Food, drinks, and a band will be provided.

A Chincoteague native, Melissa loved the island and the Chincoteague Ponies. Donations to the Feather Fund made to honor her life raised enough money pay for a foal for one of our girls this past year.

Melissa's fiance, Bart has become part of our tight Feather Fund family. He said to introduce yourself as Feather Fund family at the event. We are grateful for him, and all the people like this who join together to make pony dreams come true for our kids!

Wow! Thanks to everyone that's gone shopping on our clothing store! Lots of warm weather goodies now available! We've updated to add a hoodie in youth sizes as well. These will all make great gifts for the holidays. Starting November 1st, we'll have some special holiday designs only available until December 1st! Watch for it, and shop now!

Here's an update on Luna with much gratitude to all who contributed to a fund for her care. She is doing well now and is happy to be home with her girls, Eva and Anna!

To help her in her heart heal from the loss of her buddy this summer, 2026 foal Captain has moved in. Both Luna and Captain have become great buddies. Thank you again to all who helped turn this tragedy around!

Exciting news!!! Our online store has been updated for cooler weather!! We still have our Anorak pullover jacket and have added fleece vests and a lined hooded jacket!!! These new items are embroidered left chest only. Here's the link!

So excited to share that our last Feather Fund foal for the year is now at home with Katy Joy! Thanks so much for the very generous donation of transport from Horse Carriage Transport! And for the excellent start at pony kindergarten from Stoney Creek Chincoteagues!

Katy and her Chincoteague Pony, Dream ( #50), will begin their partnership this afternoon. Katy, was one of the recipients of the 2026 Feather Fund that helps children purchase Chincoteague foals at the July Penning Auction. Horse CarriageTransport will be donating today’s transport to The Feather Fund in Katy’s name to assist a recipient for the 2027 Chincoteague Pony Auction.

We are excited to share that we will have an informational space set up for Fall round up on Friday from 12:30 to 2:30 at our homebase on Willow Street. Come chat with us and catch up on the latest information from this year's Feather Fund award winners. We will not be selling but happy to have donations if you'd like. Come visit at 3434 Willow St. on Friday. When you see the large purple flags out front, stop on by! If it's super windy or raining we'll be on the porch.
