Our team has created a resource for you to take notes, journal, or write down prayers as we walk through this series on Jonah together. If you missed grabbing your copy, you can snag one at Midweek, on Sunday, or swing by the office during the week!

We are excited to begin this journey going beneath the surface!🌊

Yesterday we went beneath the surface of Jonah and asked a simple question: What is our answer when God says go?

Jonah heard God clearly, but his response was essentially, “no thanks.” Jonah went down to Joppa. Down into the ship. Down into the sea. Every step away from God’s will took him further down.

Where have you been saying “no thanks” when God is asking you for your yes?

Jesus has called us to share the Gospel through how we live and how we speak. WHEN He tells us and WHERE He tells us.

Jonah was willing to spend his time, energy, and resources just to avoid God’s instruction. And if we’re not careful, we can do the same.

Are you obeying God’s direction or offering Him an alternative?

“But Jonah rose to flee to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord. He went down to Joppa and found a ship going to Tarshish. So he paid the fare and went down into it to go with them to Tarshish, away from the presence of the Lord.” Jonah 1:3

A vision is where you are going. Every time in the Bible that a vision was given, it was a future reality. That vision was then fueled by a purpose-driven mission.

Our mission is we are a people united, embracing the work of the Holy Spirit, striving to see lives transformed in our community, region, nation, and world.

What is your why?

08/25/2026

“We have been crushed together so that the world may taste and see that He is good.”

When we are willing to be crushed together, it becomes less about whose fruit is whose and more about what God can produce through His Church collectively.

Our individual fruit may point people to Jesus, but imagine what can happen when the Church is poured out together!
