Look for the sign in the window at 196 N. Main Street. It represents a dream becoming reality — a permanent home for the Haywood County Arts Council and a new future for the arts in our community.

Thanks to an extraordinarily generous anonymous gift, we were able to purchase this building outright. Now, it’s our community’s turn to help bring it to life.

Introducing Elevate the Arts, our $1.5 million campaign to transform this space into a vibrant, welcoming home where artists can create, students can learn, art can be celebrated, and our community can gather for generations to come.

From accessible spaces and beautiful galleries to affordable artist studios and classrooms, we’re building more than a place. We’re creating new possibilities for the arts in Haywood County.
